Recycled Moroccan Round Drinking Glass
Our range of recycled glassware has been handblown in Marrakesh at Le Verre Beldi, the last remaining factory in Morocco producing handmade, recycled glassware.
The factory was saved from permanent closure in 2013 by The Beldi Group and now has over 60 skilled artisans keeping the traditional Moroccan techniques alive, meanwhile saving up to two tonnes of local glass waste per day from ending up in landfill including wine and beer bottles, as well as flat glass.
The sustainable beldi glasses are durable, sleek, and stylish and come in green, blue, and clear glass. These glasses work perfectly with all of our other glassware range including our colourful jugs and carafes. They are also dishwasher safe.
Each glass is handmade and therefore unique, featuring bubbles and slight irregularities in their form. These beautiful quirks are either produced by the blowing or from the tools used by the artisans. This is a natural part of the glass process and adds character and individuality to each piece.
